頭痛,是現代人最常見的困擾之一。很多人一痛就吃止痛藥,但藥效一過往往又復發。事實上,頭痛並不只是「症狀」,它背後可能隱藏著結構問題、體質差異,甚至是生活習慣的影響。如果只是一味壓抑疼痛,就像把警報聲關掉,卻沒有找到真正的火源。
頭痛的多種樣貌
不同的頭痛,會有不同的臨床表現:
- 張力型頭痛:好像頭上戴了緊箍咒,多見於長時間用電腦、壓力大的人,呈現雙側壓迫或緊縮感。
- 偏頭痛:多見於女性,常伴隨噁心、怕光怕聲,頭痛呈「跳動感」,有時與荷爾蒙或作息不規律有關。
- 頸因性頭痛:疼痛從脖子、後腦一路放射到頭部,和現代長時間低頭、久坐密切相關。
在中醫角度,頭痛的位置也能反映病因:前額痛多與胃經有關,太陽穴痛多屬肝膽經,頭頂痛常與肝腎陰虛有關,後腦痛則常見於膀胱經。同時也會依照體質分辨,例如肝陽上亢、痰濕困阻或氣血不足。
找到隱藏的源頭
很多病人會同時抱怨「肩頸緊繃」與「頭痛」。其實,長時間姿勢不良會造成頸椎與肌肉張力失衡,肌肉出現激痛點,疼痛就會轉移到頭部。頸椎小關節錯位或神經壓迫,也可能是誘發原因。
急性期的頭痛,使用止痛藥確實能快速緩解,但若長期依賴,可能會引發 止痛藥反彈性頭痛(rebound headache)。因此,預防頭痛發作,並尋找非藥物的方式介入,才是避免惡性循環的關鍵。
解方:臨床治療與日常保養
在中醫臨床上,常見的治療包含:
- 針灸、浮針、乾針、針刀:鬆解緊繃肌肉、改善血液循環。
- 中藥調理:依體質開方,補氣養血、疏風清熱、化痰祛濕。
- 整合治療:結構調整與體質調理並行,效果更持久。
日常保養也不可忽略
- 姿勢調整:避免長時間低頭,定時抬頭伸展。
- 頸肩運動:簡單的頸部轉動、肩胛伸展,有助減壓。
- 規律生活:睡眠充足、避免過量咖啡因、保持水分。
- 警訊提醒:若出現突發劇烈頭痛、視力異常或神經症狀,一定要立即就醫。

Headache is one of the most common health problems today. Many people rely on painkillers, but headaches often return. True relief requires identifying the underlying cause—whether it’s structural imbalance, lifestyle factors, or individual constitution.
Types of headache:
- Tension headache: pressure or tight band around the head, often from stress or long screen time.
- Migraine: throbbing pain, sometimes with nausea, light or sound sensitivity; often linked to hormones or irregular routines.
- Cervicogenic headache: pain starting from the neck or back of the head, related to posture and muscle tension.
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, headache location reflects different patterns: forehead (stomach meridian), temples (liver and gallbladder), top of the head (liver-kidney yin deficiency), back of the head (bladder meridian). Treatment considers constitution, such as qi deficiency, phlegm-dampness, or liver yang rising.
Clinical approaches:
- Acupuncture, dry needling, Fu’s subcutaneous needling (FSN), acupotomy to release muscle tension and improve circulation.
- Herbal medicine for balancing qi, blood, and clearing heat or dampness.
- Integrative care: structural correction plus TCM regulation for long-term effect.
Daily prevention:
- Maintain good posture, avoid prolonged head-down position.
- Neck and shoulder stretches to reduce muscle strain.
- Regular sleep, hydration, and limited caffeine.
- Seek medical care if sudden severe headache or neurological symptoms occur.
Headaches are not just minor issues—they are warning signals. Real solutions come from addressing the root causes, not just suppressing pain.
